Driving to the Stars!

Rising Stars relax after the concert on Sunday 26 February in a prop left over from Arden School's recent production of Grease.

Emma Geddes (left) who plays regularly with the orchestra gave a lively performance of Mozart's 3rd Horn Concerto, while Phillipa Gibb (passenger seat) played Mozart's Andante for flute sensitively. Daniel Todd commenced the proceedings with an impassioned account of Elgar's technically demanding Cello Concerto, and Ben Westlake (driver) performed Spohr's Clarinet Concerto in Eb faultlessly from memory.

Inquiries from prospective Rising Stars for the 2007 concert are welcome.

Further pictures from the concert will shortly be available on the Archives page
